Pole fitness is a high impact, high intensity sport that is also considered an art form, requiring flexibility, coordination, and agility. It's continually evolving as a sport as it grows in popularity around the globe and here at home. It is currently being reviewed by Sports Nova Scotia to be officially recognized as a sport.

With five divisions of competition, spectators will be  treated to the most talented pole athletes Atlantic Canada has to offer. During the event competitors will perform a 3:30 - 6 min routine combining a variety of spins, climbs, inversions and acrobatics. This evening was hosted by comedian Cheryl Hann from Picnic Face, and judged by professionals in the Pole, Acrobatic, and Dance community. The winners from each category moved on to the national competition, hosted by the Canadian Pole Fitness Association. This event was a full house
